During a water damage, some faces will be saturated while others may seemingly be unaffected. Almost

immediately the affected surfaces absorbs moisture. Measures should begin to control this situation or structural

elements will begin to break down and mold spores will  flourish. Drying Equipment is used to restore the

moisture in a safe and controlled manner. Equipment, such as professional Dryers and dehumidifiers will be

placed throughout the affected area. Dryers may be placed under wet carpet, directed along wet surfaces or a

combination thereof. Dryers circulate the wet air, then our dehumidifiers collect and remove moisture

from the air and return dry air to the atmosphere. Typical drying times average between one  and five days,

depending on many variables.

If water is not removed quickly, other problems begin. MOLD, MILDEW, and

BACTERIA are the most complex problems encountered in restoration. We

survey the problem  areas with you, then give you our suggestions.  HEAVENLY

CARE  always tries to do what is most economical. We try to dry and restore the

carpet. There are times, however, when I need to do more. In that case I remove

only the damaged carpet or pad and replace it. I use professional dryers and

dehumidifiers. After the carpet is dry, we pre spot, remove any stain. I might

suggest stretching the carpet if that is needed. H.C. is not happy till you are.
