Clean your  carpet regularly:

A Clean carpet looks better than an old, stained carpet, but appearance is not the only
consideration.  It must be cleaned regularly. Also dirty carpet is just plain unhealthy.
Odors, dust and other particles can get embedded  in the fibers, which can lead to
unpleasant smells and compromised air quality. For lingering odors after carpet cleaning
we have other solutions we can look into with you.
Simple problems can be addressed by a topical  pre-treatment (removes crystal),

followed by a general cleaning to remove the color. More severe problems will require

the restoration work Only where it is necessary, new pad

3. Remove affected tack strip and carpet pad (as needed)

4. Treat all affected surfaces; carpet, sub-floor and walls.
